Movement & Exercise
Movement can be ANYTHING that meets your health goals. From building flexibility, learning dance-inspired movements, elevating the heartrate through circuits or building muscle via resistance- it is whatever you want/need from the comfort of your own home and/or from my private studio.
Exercise is synonymous with Movement, yes; however, I use the term movement as it caters to a wider population - those experienced or not, old or young, functional or dysfunctional, etc. Whether it's to stay accountable in your routine or develop healthy habits, anyone can do and benefit from this in their own way. In detail it can include:
FitRiss gets creative, and therefore, so can you! Any other type of movement not listed that is needed or wanted - let's give it a shot.
UPDATE: Health At Every Size
P.S. FitRiss has moved away from body weight and size goals. Body image is a sensitive and debilitating topic in today's world, and after doing some soul-searching, I have recently decided to practice and promote HAES (health at every size). Exercise is used to elevate mood, productivity, and overall health. Weight loss CAN be achieved with my training, but it is not the primary focus, & if your goals are to reduce body fat percentages or weight for HEALTH reasons, then by all means contact me. However, if you are already healthy and still are stuck on reducing your body size then I encourage you to ask yourself this question: "what is a 5,10,15 lb weight loss really going to do for me?"
Will it reduce knee/joint pain?
Will it allow you to enjoy an activity with the family that is otherwise unenjoyable?
